Emma Marcegaglia serves as the President of Unindustria Bologna.

Dr. Marcegaglia serves as Managing Director of Marcegaglia S.p.A. She served as Vice President of Confindustria for Europe from 2000 to 2002, National President of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs from 1996 to 2000, President of YES (Young Entrepreneurs for Europe) since 1997 and National Vice President of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs from 1994 to 1996.

She served as a Member of the Management Board of Banco Popolare Societa Cooperativa SCRL from December 2007 to October 14, 2008.

She served as Deputy Chairman of Gabetti Property Solutions since June 29, 2007. She has been Independent Director of Gabetti Property Solutions since April 29, 2005.

She serves as an Independent Director of Indesit Company SpA. She serves as a Member of European Advisory Council at Air Products & Chemicals Inc. She served as an Independent Director of Italcementi SpA until April 2010. She served as a Director of Marcegaglia S.p.A. Dr.

Marcegaglia holds a Bocconi University Degree in Business Economy and completed a course in Business Administration at New York University, Stern School of Business.
